Client: Sigman ConstructionChallenge: Design a logo and identity system that would project strength, unity, and trust while allowing expandability for each sub-brand. Solution: A logo was chosen from a group of varying concepts that best suited the company’s goals. Sub brands were managed through the use of tag-lines and color-coding. |

Client: PROJEX ConsultingChallenge: To create an identity system that hinted at the “fast-forward” nature of their technology-based business. Solution: After studying their unique market-space and selecting a logo design, we moved forward to carry over this logo’s elements into all of their collateral and marketing efforts. A mixture of angular elements, cool-coloration and modern typeface (eurostyle) achieved the desired results. The use of the left-facing arrow in the counter-space of the X opened the possibility of having other elements and titles “PROjected” from the logo in both interactive and print media. |

Client: Business BuilderChallenge: Create a sub-brand that could be used alone, and tie in with the existing PROJEX identity. Solution: Keeping the logo in the same color palette and the continued use of angular elements and eurostyle were essential. However, this time I decided to take the “arrow” element from the PROJEX logo and build upon it both literally and metaphorically. The elements were combined to create a stylized building block for the graphic part of the logo. This element was then carried over into “building” the trade booth and other materials’ graphic presence. |

Client: Avalanche ServersChallenge: To create an identity for a data server company that focused on low-temp servers that outperformed and undercut the competition. Solution: The logo design for this was almost inherent from the start. Clean lines, cool colors, and custom-tooled fonts were used to create a sleek identity and case design. |

Client: Nisco SystemsChallenge: To create an logo for a Cisco-systems deployment company that was both powerful and approachable Solution: Through the use of gestalt-eqsue shape spaces, and crisp typefaces, a logo was created that stood out among the many emerging technology companies at the time. |
In 2000, TBS asked the firm I worked for if we could make a "really different" website that let the user control their theme. I was given the project and along with two other designers, we came up with a "skin" concept that allowed the user to change the website to fit their mood or taste in movies. The result was a website ahead of its time and a winner of an International Web Design Award.
My favorite part of this project was the Sci-Fi "skin" which was constructed entirely out of a stock photo of a human jaw bone.
